Winter

It's winter again with its sniffles and sneezes,
And generous folk share their coughs and their wheezes.

My fingers and toes all go numb and then number;
Don't want to get out of bed 'til we have summer.

With added advantage to shed excess weight then
Forget about winter, and all hibernate when

The first sign of cooling arrives in our weather.
Perhaps it might work if we all went together.
